Craigslist Cravings: Nifty Bedframe.

I really like the look of the bedframe.  Big, chunky, rustic.  The headboard needs to be a bit different for my taste, but I wonder if I could craft a similar frame for myself, and add a chunky headboard to match.

Craigslist Cravings: Huge Retro Couch.

This couch is (a) huge, (b) a bit gaudy, (c) unique.  I could see it painted a dark color so that you just get a hint of the embellishments, but it gets toned down a few notches.  It'd be a one-of-a-kind kind of couch I'd say.  It's clear over in California, so perhaps a west-coaster would be interested in it.

Craigslist Cravings: Retro Chairs

These would be swell recovered and situated around a game table.  At $25 each they are a steal too.

Craigslist Cravings: A Couch to Paint.

I'm wanting to find a couch like this one:

And paint it so it looks like this one from Design*Sponge.

I'm thinking perhaps a mossy green.

Craigslist Cravings.

This set of caneback chairs was for sale in Terre Haute, but I didn't contact the lady first, so I lost out on them. I loved the lines of the legs and thought they'd look awesome redone to match my someday reclaimed wood dining table. I was pretty bummed, but then I came across another set. They are very similar to the above set, but the lines aren't as nice. They are a bit simpler, but the basic style is there. I'm supposed to go down and pick them up Saturday evening. The second set also comes with a dining table, which we really don't need, but I think we can make it into something neat.

What are your thoughts?

Craigslist Cravings.

A dresser in Ellettsville for $75. I like its lines. It would look great in my closet. It's fun to window shop, but I hope when it comes down to buying furniture for our house I'll be able to find all this great stuff again.

A nifty little secretary desk/hutch for sale in Bloomington for $100. If only I had money to spend, this would already be in the back of my truck heading for my house.
