Looking forward to next weekend.

Next weekend I have awesome plans!!  Indiana University Art Museum and the Indiana University Cinema are teaming up for an art talk and movie next Sunday afternoon (January 18).  More info here.

The subject of both is Diane Arbus.  Quite the interesting character and photographer to say the least. I'm really excited to peruse the gallery before the talk and soak up as much art-inspiration as my little heart can hold.

The movie they are going to show is "Fur:  An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus."  Nicole Kidman plays Diane.  The movie was made in 2006, but I don't believe I've ever seen it.

I went to their lovely Cinema last Easter to see the "Finding Vivian Meier" documentary.  It was such a delight.  I know I've not been to their gallery since maybe 2004 at the latest, so I'm looking forward to that as well.
